This is NOT a paid or sponsored post. We have owned our air fryer for over a year and bought it after our old deep fryer wore out.
The Brabantia Air Fryer Oven is the only oven I have really used in over a year. I have made everything in it from fries to lamb chops to chocolate cake and more!
Originally I was a bit iffy to cook things in it other than French fries or your typical fried foods but it does exceptionally well at cooking most things once you get used to it. My partner, who is a bit of a pizza connoisseur, also cooks his pizza on the air fryer setting and swears by it, similarly, garlic bread is excellent in the air fryer.
If you have never used an air fryer before, the taste is similar to that of something which has been baked in the oven vs the greasiness of a deep fryer. In fact one of the bonuses about the air fryer is that adding oil is completely optional and cooking without it is entirely possible- I don’t typically use any oil at all unless I’m making a roast.
Our air fryer is a bench-top oven model and has several great functions. It has settings to air fry, oven bake, fan bake, toast, broil and warm. It can reach 230c/446f and due to its size can cook things rather quickly when compared to a standard-sized oven. It operates on a 60-minute timer and also has a button to turn the internal light on/off.
The air fryer oven is 18L and would typically do for feeding one-two people depending on the meal. For size, this air fryer oven snuggly fits one standard-size pizza, or if baking a cake, one 20cm cake tin.
I would recommend it as a bench top oven/air fryer to anyone with space in their kitchen – remembering it does have to sit on the bench which takes up space.
The air fryer oven itself is 366 X 368 X 355mm with an interior cavity measurement of 280 X 295 X 225mm.
The air fyer oven is easy to clean; it has stainless steel housing and a single glass door. The metal racks which come with it (a drip tray, wire rack, and an oven tray) are also all super easy to clean and often just require a wipe down with a cloth to remove any excess food which can get cooked onto the wire rack sometimes – we eat a lot of cheese in our house!
Overall I am impressed by the versatility and ease of this appliance. It is a lot cleaner, safer, and healthier than using a deep fryer and ultimately, another kitchen appliance I’d be completely lost without!
